Aice Media Portfolio (Theory)

 One Media Theory I wish to integrate

For this blog post, I'll discuss the media theory I want to integrate throughout the project, the opening, and the plot. 

These are pictures of the list of multiple theories I can choose from. I don't really know what the rest of my group decided to choose but I'll be choosing from the Narrative codes, "Proairetic or Action Code" This code refers to the use of plot points that lead to other actions and make audiences wonder what could occur next. I want to use this theory as it aligns with the idea of leaving audiences questioning which works with the ending of my opening. As the opening ends with the traumatized eyes of the main character, I want to leave audiences questioned, shocked by what they just witnessed and how that'll affect the main character as well as where he left off or where he is in the story of the film. Also, for the general plot of the story, I would integrate this theory to highlight the entire point of how people are turning to savagery, and losing their mentality. For example, whenever the main character was to encounter groups of bandits, I would use this theory to have audiences question how the main character would survive or escape this situation.
